An apostille is a certificate that confirms the signature and seal on a public document so it can be used in another country that belongs to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. It replaces the longer chain of embassy legalization for those countries.
Whether an apostille is possible depends on the country that issued the document and the country where it will be used. We check this first, then obtain the apostille from the competent authority, or arrange full legalization when an apostille is not accepted.
We also obtain apostilles on documents issued abroad, for example a degree from Australia or a birth certificate from the Philippines, for use in Solomon Islands or a third country.
